Days To Go and Days To Go Pro for Garmin watches, and Days To Go for Wear OS. Effective 8 October 2026; Wear OS section added 11 October 2026; the store rating request named 21 October 2026.

In short: Days To Go and Days To Go Pro keep everything on your watch. Neither asks for any permissions, and neither has an account, internet access, analytics or ads.

What Days To Go reads

To draw the face: the time and date. Days To Go Pro also reads the battery level or your step count, only if you turn that line on. It reads these from your watch as it draws and saves none of them.

What Days To Go saves

Only your settings, on the watch (see below). Nothing else is stored, and it is deleted when you remove the face.

What Days To Go shares

Nothing. It sends no data to the developer, to Garmin Connect or to anyone else.

On Garmin watches that support it, Days To Go and Days To Go Pro may ask for a rating in the Connect IQ Store: after you set your next date on the watch itself, once the day of the event it replaces has come (an event set to Every year, or the New Year default, never counts). Your watch first asks the store whether it may show Garmin’s rating screen; the face adds none of its data to that request and stores nothing about it.

Settings

Your face settings are stored by Garmin Connect so they can reach the watch. They contain only your choices: the event and its date, an optional name you type, how to count, the date style and the accent colour; in Days To Go Pro also the time of day, the minute, the event time zone and the bottom line. If you type a name, it is stored with the other settings and shown only on your watch.

Days To Go for Wear OS

The Wear OS watch face has no code of its own: it is a Watch Face Format file that Wear OS draws. It asks for no permissions and has no internet access, account, analytics or ads. It reads the time and date to draw the face and saves nothing. Your choices (the event, its date, how to count and the accent colour) are kept by Wear OS on your watch (and on your phone, if your phone's watch app keeps a copy). The developer never receives them.

Purchases

Garmin handles purchases through the Connect IQ Store under Garmin’s privacy policy. The developer never sees your payment details.
