Help for RevDay Pro, a watch face with a speedometer-style dial.

Contact

Questions or bugs: email hello@verden.watch. Please include your watch model and its software version, and what the face showed at the time.

The settings

There are four, in the face’s own settings: Needle, which reading the needle shows (Steps, Heart rate, Intensity minutes, Floors climbed, Watch battery, Body Battery or Stress; Steps is the default), Fuel gauge, what the five-bar gauge shows (Body Battery, the default, Watch battery or Stress), Second gauge, which reading the second small gauge shows (any of the needle’s readings except Body Battery; Heart rate is the default), andAccent colour, the colour of the needle, from a longer list. The accent only ever changes the colour, never what a number means. The black-and-white screens have no accent setting.

If a setting is ever missing or can’t be read, the face simply shows its defaults: Steps, Body Battery on the fuel gauge, Heart rate on the second gauge, in Amber.

Common questions

Where is my speed?

RevDay Pro is not a GPS speedometer: it does not measure speed or pace. The dial is a speedometer’s shape; the needle shows steps toward your daily goal, or another reading you choose.

What do the numbers around the dial mean?

The top of the dial is your goal. The dial keeps reading to twice the goal, and past that a small ×2, ×3 mark counts the laps. The exact number is always shown on the face.

There is no needle, and the face says NO DATA YET, NOT ON THIS WATCH or NO GOAL SET.

NO DATA YET: your watch has no valid reading right now. NOT ON THIS WATCH: your watch cannot give the reading you chose (floors need a watch that counts floors; Body Battery and Stress need a watch that records them). NO GOAL SET: the reading is measured against a goal and your watch has none (steps never: with no step goal they read against 10,000). RevDay Pro never swaps in another reading to fill the gap.

Why does a small gauge disappear?

A gauge never repeats a reading already shown: the fuel gauge hides when the needle shows the same reading, and the second gauge hides when it would repeat the needle or the fuel gauge.

Why does the heart rate lag?

The needle shows your watch’s latest heart-rate reading, updated about every minute or two. It is not live.

I use a wheelchair.

In wheelchair mode, on watches that have Garmin’s pushes count, Steps follows your pushes against your push goal.

How is this different from RevDay?

RevDay Pro adds Body Battery and Stress as needle sources, a second small gauge you choose and a longer list of accent colours. It is a separate, one-time paid listing.

Why does the face ask for a permission?

To read Body Battery from your watch for its gauge and needle. It reads the newest value only, keeps it in memory and never stores or sends it. See the privacy policy.

What does the face store?

Only your setting choices, small numbers kept in the app’s own settings storage on the watch. No readings are stored.
