Privacy policy
RevDay for Garmin watches. Effective 16 October 2026.
What RevDay reads
To draw the face, as it draws, and saving none of it: the time and date, and the figures your watch already keeps for the needle you choose: steps and your step goal, heart rate, intensity minutes, floors climbed and the watch battery. RevDay shows each as the watch reports it and gives no advice or judgement about it.
The one exception to “data the watch already keeps” is Body Battery, Garmin’s own reading: RevDay asks the watch’s sensor history for the newest Body Battery sample, at most once a minute, for the Body Battery gauge. It holds that one value in memory until the next read. It is never written to storage and never sent anywhere.
Permissions
The face asks for this, and for nothing else:
- SensorHistory: to read the newest Body Battery value from the watch, for the Body Battery gauge.
RevDay does not read your location. It has no Positioning permission and no network permission.
What RevDay saves
Only your setting choices: which reading the needle shows and your accent colour, small numbers kept in the app’s own settings storage on your watch. No reading is stored: every value is read each redraw; Body Battery at most once a minute. If you change a setting in the Garmin Connect app, Garmin’s own app and settings sync carry that choice to your watch; that is Garmin’s mechanism, not something RevDay sends anywhere.
What RevDay shares
Nothing. It has no network access, so nothing the face reads is ever sent to the developer, to Garmin Connect, or to anyone else.
Purchases
Garmin handles purchases through the Connect IQ Store under Garmin’s privacy policy. The developer never sees your payment details.
